Lady Gaga is not pregnant with Bradley Cooper’s baby, despite an absurd tabloid report. The singer isn’t expecting a child and she’s not in a romance with her A Star Is Born co-star. Gossip Cop can debunk the fictional story.
Last month, Gaga ended a brief fling with her sound engineer, Dan Horton, and according to NW, the relationship fell apart when he learned she was expecting a baby that wasn’t his. “The fight was really monumental, but truth be told, it’s not really that surprising,” an alleged source tells the outlet. “A lot of us saw it coming. Dan realized Gaga never stopped loving Bradley and he was just playing second fiddle.”
The supposed insider further contends that Horton “hit the roof” when Gaga told him she was pregnant “because he straight away assumed it was Bradley’s kid.” The suspicious tipster maintains that Gaga and Cooper had been hooking up during her time dating Horton, and although the news of a baby “came as a shock,” the actor is excited about becoming a dad again.
Cooper, who shares a two-year-old daughter with his ex, Irina Shayk, “always wanted another child, but Irina refused,” adds the seemingly phony source. “It was a big sticking point for him. But now it’s happening and you can bet that it won’t be long before he and Gaga decide to go public once and for all.”
Every aspect of the magazine’s article is untrue. The tabloid doesn’t bother to indicate how far along Gaga is in the supposed pregnancy, but suggests her child will be born “in just a few short months.” Gaga is currently in the midst of her Las Vegas residency, which runs through the end of December. The concerts require strenuous dancing, and it seems highly unlikely she could pull that off while carrying a child.
Still, Gossip Cop checked in with an individual in Gaga’s camp, who assures us the publication’s story is entirely false. The singer isn’t pregnant and she isn’t in a relationship with Cooper either. In fact, the actor spends most of his time in New York City, while Gaga has been performing in Las Vegas, so it’s unclear when their hookups could possibly even occur.
Meanwhile, NW spends a lot of time printing fiction about the former co-stars. In June, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for falsely claiming Gaga was fighting with Jennifer Aniston for Cooper’s affections. In April, we busted the outlet for wrongly reporting Gaga was dating Jeremy Renner to get revenge on Cooper for not committing to her. Both of those bogus storylines have since been dropped in favor of this new one about a baby being on the way. It’s just more nonsense.
